Over Holy Week this year the Hanley Team concentrated on the theme of Encounters With Jesus, in services and prayer walks throughout the week, based at the five churches.

On Good Friday the team helped with an open-air presentation and outreach in Hanley centre, which was a great success despite the rain! Puppets, Barney the Sheep, Easter Eggs and Frank McGregor's artwork and input all went towards the morning being a great witness to those who were there in the town centre.

It all culminated with a Son-Rise service at 6.30 am on Easter Day, which took place in the grounds of St Mark's Church. Here is the Easter Garden which was at the church.
